What information can a Directory Listing contain?

Each directory listing is a full web page (hosted on our server), and contains detailed information about your firm, such as:

• Firm name and contact information
• Hot link to your website
• Your logo
• Year established
• Client references
• Biography of practitioners
• IP comments
• Firm description
• Photograph of your staff or office

What is the FEATURED Directory Listing?

The listing can contain all the information listed above.

You are able to present your company in a personal way, by including your Company Logo, and photographs of your personnel and/or your office. Your major means of communication with clients and potential clients is probably by telephone and email. With a Featured Listing, your photograph will attach a face to a name, and personalize the contact. Your photographs will also remind clients and potential clients about meeting you at gatherings such as INTA or AIPLA or AIPPI.

You can also list the names of some of your clients with this type of Directory Listing.

In addition, your Featured Listing will appear in the top section of the listings for your country.

What is the REGULAR Directory Listing?

There is no charge for a Regular Listing. This listing includes all the information listed above under "What information can a Directory Listing contain?", except your logo, photographs and client list.

The Regular Listing is an attractive complete web page dedicated to your Company information. It will enhance your internet presence.

What you sacrifice with a Regular Listing compared to a Featured Listing is that you cannot display your logo and your company photographs. Your listing will therefore have less visual appeal since your logo and photographs will not be present to add dimensionality and color. Also, you cannot list Client names.

In addition, the Regular directory Listings are presented below the Featured Listings when viewers search for IP Practices. They will therefore be less visible.

How are the listings organized and displayed?

Listings are accessed by country. After the viewer chooses a country, the Directory displays a list of names of IP Practices in that country, one line for each practice. Clicking the name then shows the company details in a separate window.

For each country, the Featured Listings are shown first. Following those names, lower on the page, the Regular Listings are shown. Within each grouping the names are shown in random order, so that the order will be different each time the list is shown.

How do the listings relate to the Global IP Estimator software?

Please note that there is no necessary relationship between firms listed here and those that provide the information used in the database for Global IP Estimator. That database incorporates information from many more firms than are currently listed.

How can I add my company to the Directory?

Click here to link to an application form to add your company to the listings. You will receive a logon ID and password via email that will allow you to add your company.

My firm already has a listing. How can I update the information?

Once your company is listed, you can log in to the DirectoryIP.com Administration screen and edit your company's data. To log in, click LOG IN in the Home Page menu (top right of page).

After logging in, you will be presented with your Edit Company menu. This menu will allow you to Edit your Company's data, View your Company's listing directly, Upgrade to a Featured Listing if you do not have one, and Pay for a Featured Listing. It will also allow you run FREE IP Estimates for your Home Country.

My firm has a Regular Listing. How do I Upgrade to a Featured Listing?

LOG IN to your account via the LOG IN button to the top right of the menu bar, above. After logging in, you will be presented with your Edit Company menu. This menu will have an item labeled "Upgrade to a Featured Listing".
